Gentle Nova Tavern (late 1980 or early 1990s?)
While playing around with the Traveller roleplaying game some more, after not touching it for many years, I created a tavern at a spaceport called The Gentle Nova Tavern which I imagined had a large 3D hologram of a slow exploding nova hovering over the establishment. While I never did put it to use within the Traveller roleplaying game, obviously the paradoxical nature of the name struck a chord with me somehow, as a few years later Gentle Nova would become my primary online gaming name.
